वैज्ञानिकों ने विभिन्न प्रजाति की गायों के मूत्र का नमूना लेकर उस पर प्रयोग किए। शोध में यह पाया गया कि गोमूत्र के रोजाना सेवन करने से 3000 से 3500 कैंसर के कोश नष्ट होते हैं। वर्तमान में कीमोथेरेपी, रेडियोथेरापी खर्चीले और दुष्प्रभावी हैं। गोमूत्र के अर्क के सेवन का असर कैंसर से प्रभावित हिस्से पर ही होता है । 24 घंटे में कितने कोश नष्ट हो सकते हैं यह मरीज की रोग प्रतिकारक क्षमता पर भी कम हो सकती है। गोमूत्र के अर्क का सेवन कई लोग नही कर पाते इसे ध्यान में रखते हुए जल्द ही गोमूत्र का पाउडर और गोली बनाने पर विचार किया जा रहा है।
